Shibuichi earring workshops with Jill Hermans
Join local East Gippsland jewellery maker Jill Hermans in this fun weekend as she shares her renowned experience in working with the fascinating Japanese metal alloy that is Shibuichi.
Jill will demonstrate casting the copper/silver alloy (shibuichi) to produce sheet and wire, that you will then use to saw, file,fuse and reticulate (surface treatment to create texture) then colour as you make your own personal pair of earrings and more!
The workshops are suitable for jewellery making beginners and professionals alike.

3 day stone setting workshop with Marcus Foley
Learn tips and tricks that apply directly to your faceted stone bezel setting and your jewellery making in general during this 3 day intensive collet bezel setting workshop. Progress your skill level and take the appearance of your bezel setting of round and square faceted stones to a higher level.
We will also focus on the use and handling of a hammer hand-piece - a vital workshop tool if you are wanting to do a lot of bezel setting as part of your skill set.

10 week jewellery making course with Marcus Foley
An introductory 10 week course to the art of jewellery making (gold-smithing) taught by Marcus Foley at oneofftwo contemporary jewellery in Nungurner.
Up to 4 participants in the class will be shown the formative skills in gold and silver-smithing with the goal of producing an individually designed pierced silver ring or for those who have previously joined a class you can enjoy learning new skills making earrings or a pendant for example.
