We are very happy to welcome gold and silversmiths, jewellery makers or beginners into our lovely rural studio and spend some time working & making in a beautiful rural landscape.

Learn new skills, escape the city and enjoy the change of environment to refresh, relearn and revive your making. Mix up workshop time with exploring the local area's wonderfully accessible lakes, rivers, ocean beaches and range of forests to lend new inspiration and ideas to your jewellery making.

Come for a day or two or enjoy the studio for a week or more. Take the opportunity for some direct one on one learning with Dore or Marcus or simply hire some bench space and work away.

Dore's speciality is her stunning and unique enamelling developed over nearly 35 years of studio practice both here in Australia and Germany.

Marcus also has extensive experience in jewellery making including stone setting and general fabrication and his skills extend to silver smithing and tableware.

Studio Access Fees:  
Monday - Friday 10 am - 5 pm

without tuition:  
$50,- per day or $200,- for 5 days

with tuition:        
up to two hours tution during a day - $180,- per day or $700,- for 5 days
one on one, by your side all day personal tuition - $480, - per day

For those of you looking for accommodation we can highly recommend either Jetty Road Retreat or on airbnb a great little cottage as both are fantastic: clean, groovy and have stunning views of the lakes, islands and ocean. Best of all they are both only a short drive or walk from our studio.
Alternatively, if you feel like you really deserve to spoil yourself then head to Goldsmiths in the Forest for hosted accommodation featuring wonderful food and a beautiful, private rain-forest location that is only a short 15 minute drive through the Colquhoun forest away from oneofftwo.

And if your partner or family is lucky enough to be traveling with you then they will have plenty to occupy their time whilst you are busy in the workshop. Nungurner provides plenty of outdoorsy activities including fishing, swimming, sailing and kayaking on and in the lake. Bush-walking and mountain-biking in the nearby Colquhoun forest are really great and there are two other MTB parks, each less than an hour away. Surfing at Red Bluff near Lakes Entrance can be a hoot when the swell is up too - so pack your car with all the fun gear to enjoy a wonderful break!
