This workshop will teach methods of observational drawing that develop skills in traversing a complex subject or site - how to focus on form and space to develop a composition.
Discussion will explore aspects of seeing, investigation and interpretation – how our memories and experience inform our work and how we can combine sight and insight in the development of a personal style.

Shibuichi earring workshops with Jill Hermans
Jill will demonstrate casting the copper/silver alloy (shibuichi) to produce sheet and wire, that you will then use to saw, file, reticulate (surface treatment to create texture) and colour as you make your own personal pair of earrings!
The workshops are open to beginners and professionals alike.

jewellery workshop with Pennie Jagiello
From take away to wear away, this two-day jewellery workshop will guide participants to reconsider disposable and single use plastics through challenges of considered redesigning. Using objects that are often used and discarded without consideration, participants will be guided into deconstructing and redesigning form, and reworking found materials into new and wearable objects of delight.

3 day stone setting workshop with Marcus Foley
Learn tips and tricks that apply directly to your faceted stone bezel setting and your jewellery making in general during this 3 day intensive collet bezel setting workshop. Progress your skill level and take the appearance of your bezel setting of round and square faceted stones to a higher level.
We will also focus on the use and handling of a hammer hand-piece - a vital workshop tool if you are wanting to do a lot of bezel setting as part of your skill set.

8 week jewellery making course with Marcus Foley
An introductory 8 week course to the art of jewellery making (gold-smithing) taught by Marcus Foley at oneofftwo contemporary jewellery in Nungurner.
Up to 4 participants in the class will be shown the formative skills in gold and silver-smithing with the goal of producing an individually designed pierced silver ring or for those who have previously joined a class you can enjoy learning new skills making earrings or a pendant for example.
