Peru Jewellery Tour Information

- tips (not mandatory in Peru, but if the service is appreciated tips are not unwelcome either)
- silver used in jewellery workshops will need to be purchased per gram
Clients are invoiced by Travel & Cruise, Wangaratta in US dollars and prices may be subject to slight variation due to the live exchange rate at time of booking and bank transfers.
We require a US $1,000 dollars non-refundable deposit to secure your booking for this Group Tour.
A Booking Confirmation Invoice will be provided with a DETAILED ITINERARY and trip notes. Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 60 days before the departure date. Payments made by credit card will incur additional bank fees.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the conditions set out below prior to booking your trip with oneofftwo contemporary jewellery. oneofftwo is affiliated with Travel & Cruise Wangaratta, a registered Australian Travel Agent License No. 30672. On confirmation of your booking we will provide a Booking Confirmation Invoice and Detailed Itinerary with notes for you to read.
By booking a trip with oneofftwo you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions. The specific services to be provided are those referred to in the Detailed Itinerary provided with your Booking Confirmation Invoice.
You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 1,000 US dollars for this Peruvian Jewellery tour to secure your booking. A Booking Confirmation Invoice will be provided with a Detailed Itinerary and notes. If your booking is made within 60 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
BALANCE AND FINAL PAYMENTS
Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed by us in writing and/or email with details regarding final payments. Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 60 days before the departure date. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as canceled.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
oneofftwo contracts with a network of independent companies, government agencies and individuals to assist in the running of our trips and optional activities. These independent third parties are not agents, servants or employees of oneofftwo. Although we take care in selecting these independent service providers, oneofftwo is not responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties their servants or agents or any ramifications of that conduct. You accept and assume the risk involved with all activities.
If, in the opinion of any representative of oneofftwo or local tour guides, your mental or physical condition is such as to affect your own health and safety, render you incapable to care for yourself, cause you to became a hazard to yourself or other passengers/clients or result in you becoming objectionable to other passengers or staff, you will not be permitted to continue with the tour. oneofftwo is not liable to you for any costs associated with such a decision and you will not be refunded for any part of the tour cost.
oneofftwo accepts no responsibility for any death, injury, illness, loss (including loss of enjoyment), damage, detention, delay (including mechanical breakdown) beyond its control.
To the full extent permitted by law, oneofftwo's liability arising under or in connection with these booking conditions: (a) is limited to the re-supply of the products or services or the payment of the cost of re-supply of the products or services to you; and (b) excludes liability for any indirect or consequential losses suffered by you or any third party, howsoever caused, including but not limited to pure economic loss or any special, extraordinary or punitive damage to you or any other party.
In order for us to confirm your booking you must provide all requested details on the booking form provided at the time of your final payment or 60 days before the departure date. This includes full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, emergency contact, special dietary requirements, any pre-existing medical conditions, details of your Travel Insurance including policy number and contact details. Your booking cannot be confirmed without provision of these details.
CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER
Cancellations 60 days or more prior to departure will forfeit the deposit; Between 30 and 59 days prior to departure, we will retain 50% of the total booking cost; and Less than 30 days prior to departure we will retain 100% of fees paid by you for the booking. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
CANCELLATION BY ONEOFFTWO
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if external events make it not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary or if a group tour is under subscribed. If we cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances you will receive a full refund. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas, vaccinations or non-refundable flights.

PRICES & SURCHARGES
Our trip prices are based on US dollars and Peruvian Sol and may be subject to currency exchange rate fluctuations at the time of booking and additional Bank Fees for Credit Card payments. We reserve the right to impose surcharges up to 60 days before departure due to unfavourable changes in live exchange rates, increases in local operator costs, taxes, or if government action should require us to do so.
All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the child’s day to day care.
There is no upper age limit though we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding. Most guest houseshave stairs, sometimes steep and no elevators are available. The general urban landscape can also have uneven ground and trip hazards. We do not recommend travelling to Peru if clients have mobility problems. A Self-Assessment form may be required for passengers aged 70 years and over.
CHANGE OF ITINERARY FLEXIBILITY
Itineraries are subject to alteration without notice and intended as a guide only. Alterations may come about due to road, weather or tidal conditions, strikes, public holidays, local festivals or other reasons. Any additional expense incurred by the client is not the responsibility of oneofftwo. While we endeavour to operate all trips as described we reserve the right to change the trip itinerary and will provide notice of any intended changes. However it is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all possible relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
Although we have made a concerted effort to verify the accuracy of statements made in our trip documentation including brochure, website and Trip Notes we cannot be held responsible for any error, omission or unintentional misrepresentation that may occur.
AUTHORITY ON TOUR
Our group trips are run by an experienced and reliable Host or Principle Guide. Any decision of the Host or Principle Guide is final, on all matters affecting the tour. Clients who fail to comply with any reasonable decision made by a Host or Principle Guide, or who interfere with the well-being of the group may be asked to leave the tour with no right of refund. Clients must at all times comply with the local laws and respect customs.
The food in Peru is delicious, varied and healthy. We takecare to source fresh food and only eat at recommended venues. Our tours can cater for vegetarian clients. However, clients with other special needs, such a gluten free foods, need to bring some of their own provisions. Access to a variety of gluten free or specialist foods is not possible in remote locations. Fresh meat, fruit and vegetables are readily available.
If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your tour Host or Principle Guide at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. Any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the tour.
PHOTOS AND MARKETING
You consent to oneofftwo using suitable and appropriate images of you taken during your trip for future promotional purposes. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes. If you do not consent to your image being used please let us know.
Any personal information that we collect about you will only be used by oneofftwo for purposes associated with the operation of a tour or to send you further marketing material in relation to oneofftwo.
Travel insurance is compulsory for all clients and should be taken out at the time of booking.You must provide proof of your travel insurance at least 60 days before departure or on final payment to secure your booking. You will not be able to join the trip without it.
Yellow fever vaccination is compulsory. Malaria tablets are recommended
